The Events
The First Light Marathon - New Zealand $550 (Price for 2025)
= half marathon race entry, 4 nights accommodation and food. Flights are not included.
The Great Wall Marathon - China $10,000 (Price to be confirmed)
The Lost City Marathon - Mexico $10,000 (Price to be confirmed)
The Bagan Temple Marathon - Myanmar $10,000 (Price to be confirmed)
The New York Marathon $10,000 (Price to be confirmed)
Our itineraries are kiwi designed to give you the best bang for your buck. These VIP tours allow you to stay at the top locations and experience the best range of services. Everything is customised to your needs including domestic flights for Australia and New Zealand. There are no cost surprises while you are away and our hosts are very accomodating to our NZ Marathon Team needs.
The Travel Extension
Our tour is usually built around 6 -10 Days. But what we do differently is add an extension to the tour at super low prices that you would struggle to get on the open market. This is completely optional.
If you wish to jump on the extension tour then budget around $700 -$1000
For example The 2019 China extension was $600 this included overnight train to Xian 1200 kilometres from Beijing, transport and entry to Terracotter Warriors, lunch/tour and dinner show. 2 nights staying in Xian Bell Tower Hotel with flights and transfers all departing from Guangzhou. This allowed anyone wanting to on head to Bangkok and Shanghai to do so, which many did.
Over in New York the extension was $350 this included flights to Vegas, 2 Nights and breakfast plus transfers onto to L.A with local tours and connecting flights to Australia and New Zealand.
At any point you can opt in or out of the extension packages or if you are a seasoned traveller talk to us to customise your itinenary and continue on your own journey. We can assist all your requests even if you want to pick up an RV and off road - what ever it is we can do it flights,transfers all to get you maximum travel time and then return home safely.
NZ Team Uniform
Our NZ Team Uniform package is usually around $375 - $400
All supporters and athletes must purchase uniform when travelling. If you have uniform from previous tours feel free to use it.
Uniform issue will differ per event/country and most packs include; Travel Backpack, NZ Team Polo, Race Shirt, Race Cap, Hoodie, NZ Team Jacket or Vest. Extras can be purchasd upon requests.
Sizing will be collected closer to your departure date and posted out a month in advance.
The Visa
Depending on your choice of destination Visa prices can vary from $30 - $140.
We will support you through your Visa application as some countries have very strict criteria when applying.
USA Esta Visa waiver program is $21(usd)
China Visa is $210(nzd) and other countries vary in prices accordingly.
We have a alot of experience applying for Visa's for our NZ Team and we will assist everyone when we have confirmed your flight path and package
The Insurance
This is most important thing you'll need, without Travel Insurance you cannot come.
Some insurance can cost between $60 to as much as $500 depending on your needs and your current healthcare situation.
We do have our own supplier who can provide you with a no-obligation quote, prices will vary on individual health needs and age.
If you already have an insurance provider, all we need is a current copy of your policy, or if you would like to source your own insurance provider (to get the best price), you can do that as well.
Spending Money
We have a relationship with a International currency supplier which allows us to buy bulk when travelling overseas.
Should you require a better rate on your dollar for all international currency lets us know so that we can arrange to have this ready for you when you depart. Our buying rate allows us to be lower than most currency convertors which puts more money in your pocket. Depending on your needs a budget of around $500-$1000 is sufficient.
